Holistic Health isn’t just my job, it’s what saved my life. My wellness journey started from a painful beginning, and it’s something I work on every day, as a source of strength, nourishment and vitality to support my most functional and full life. At the young age of 22, I was at the top of my game as a professional handball player, and I had a career and a life that I truly loved. I was invincible until a traumatic knee injury in 2002 ended my career as a professional athlete.
In an instant, my life was over, and for the next 12 years, I suffered severe emotional, mental and physical health issues that stripped me of my confidence and self-worth. I struggled constantly with the pain and developed anaemia, food intolerances, chronic fatigue and poor immunity. I was used to the notion of physical health in terms of ‘strength’ and ‘fitness’ but I wasn’t in tune with my emotional or mental wellbeing and how this was affecting my recovery. Looking back, these painful years were defining moments. It pushed me on a path of healing and self-discovery and in 2010, I visited my first Natural Doctor and started the Nutrition Therapy program at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. This changed my life, and I added the healing and nourishing properties of whole foods into my recovery.
This awakening sparked my interest in Functional Medicine and the prevention of chronic disease through nutrition, exercise, lifestyle, stress reduction methods, use of laboratory testing, and health coaching. I’d finally found the missing piece. A way to address my suppressed physical, mental and emotional trauma safely and with holistic support.
Through healing foods, coaching and exercises that suited my lifestyle and environment post injury; I slowly came back to life. Today, I am 7 years into the healing process and I continue to grow and progress as I have a better understanding of myself and my body. Now, I work with women who struggle with similar issues like weight management, digestive issues,fatigue, premenstrual syndromes and hormonal imbalances .
It’s been a long road to get here, and that’s why I’m so passionate about an Integrative Body-Mind Coaching & Functional Medicine through nutritional and lifestyle practice. I’ve dedicated the last 13 years to expand my knowledge of health and wellbeing, so I can support others on their personal health journeys. Now with lived experience, professional qualifications and hands-on experience with clients – I know it’s possible.
I know the determination and untapped potential within each of us, and it’s an honour and a privilege to support and guide these transformations each and every day. I teach my clients how to become more aware of their body signs and symptoms, let go of what no longer serves them, and learn how to embrace, love and celebrate themselves; mind, body and soul.

What does mindfulness mean to you? When people talk about self-awareness and living in the ‘present’ do you tune out, or do you think about meditation and yoga and wonder what it has to do with you? It’s common to feel disconnected to mindful practices. We live in a world that never slows down, that constantly pushes happiness and distracts us with fast food, fast fashion, new technology and a constant stream of media.
We’re bombarded with external messages, but how often do you pause? How often can you stop, reflect and tune in to what you are really thinking and feeling? How much of what you tell yourself is true or is it a story you’ve told yourself for so long that you believe it’s true?
Your mind is your strongest ally when it comes to change, but breaking old habits and living through your heart-centric purpose requires a lifestyle transformation. My mission is to guide you on your own journey of awareness, identifying thoughts and patterns that cause self-destructing habits.
My passion is empowering you to become the best version of yourself and releasing what doesn’t nourish and serve you. We work together to connect with your heart intuition and purpose, overcoming the blockages that stop you from becoming the person you truly want to be.
Our work is done honestly, with integrity and respect in all aspects of your life to facilitate holistic change by addressing your mind, body and souls attitude towards health and wellbeing. This journey takes courage, but I will be there every step of the way. Together, we will practice slowing down and become aware of the thoughts and behaviours that drive action and create new patterns that drive positive and mindful action toward your goals.
